From an early start in the entertainment industry to a thriving international radio career — this is my story, my passion, and my purpose.
About Me
I’ve spent most of my life in the world of entertainment, and over a decade ago, I found my true calling — radio.
My broadcasting journey began at a community FM station, where I interviewed local councillors, TV and radio personalities, and played music from every genre imaginable.
Thrown into the spotlight from day one, I had to learn quickly and adapt fast. That’s when I discovered my love for connecting with people through the airwaves — and I’ve never looked back since.

At CJC Promotions, I specialise in radio airplay promotion and have achieved outstanding success for the many artists I’ve represented over the years. Numerous clients return to CJC Promotions for every new release, a testament to the results delivered and the trusted relationships built. I have had the privilege of working with artists from across the globe, including the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Brazil, Romania, Sweden, Norway, Australia, the USA, Spain, and Canada, among others.
What distinguishes CJC Promotions from other PR companies is my personal, hands-on approach. I believe in maintaining consistent communication with both artists and radio presenters, fostering genuine, long-term professional relationships. Collaboration and teamwork lie at the heart of everything I do.

I actively engage with radio stations worldwide, continually researching and networking to expand and strengthen industry connections. As a result, CJC artists receive regular airplay on stations in Australia, South Africa, the USA, Canada, Malta, Spain, Singapore, England, Scotland, and beyond. In addition, I partner with several radio stations — sponsoring shows and collaborating under the CJC Promotions brand — to maximise exposure for CJC artists while providing valuable support to radio broadcasters.
CJC Promotions has been built through dedication, long hours, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Operating independently, I manage every aspect of the business while maintaining an extensive and supportive international network of presenters and radio stations. This success has been achieved through persistence, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for the industry.
Today, I am proud that radio presenters, shows, and stations now approach CJC Promotions directly in search of new music. Supporting local and community radio remains a core value of my work — ensuring that great music continues to be heard by audiences everywhere.
🎧 Career Highlights
After establishing myself as a presenter, I was invited to become Station Manager for a local station. My role was to bring in new talent and shape the station into a recognised name in the industry.
Over time, we built a thriving platform with:
64 presenters
16 hours of daily programming
A loyal and growing audience
It was a fantastic experience, and it cemented my belief that radio is more than a job — it’s a community.
When the station later faced an irreversible hacking incident, I decided to take my career in a new direction — as a Freelance Radio Presenter.

Today, I’m proud to broadcast across multiple stations, both in the UK and internationally — including Amsterdam, Phoenix, and Memphis.
My shows, such as “An Evening with Brian James”, bring people together through great music, stories, and conversation.
Every broadcast is an opportunity to share a smile, a song, and a moment of connection with listeners around the world.

Another presenter I took inspiration from was Alan * Fluff * Freeman famous for his catchphrases here are just a few
- Alright pop pickers?”: This greeting was how he famously began many of his shows.
- “Stay bright!”: This was a common sign-off he used.
- “Not ‘arf!”: This exclamation was frequently used to express enthusiasm and was a key part of his catchphrase repertoire.
